Call for Proposals: Regional Forum for the Promotion and Monitoring Progress of the Implementation of Istanbul Convention in Western Balkans and Turkey

UN Women, The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, invites women civil society organizations (CSOs), women CSOs networks and platforms promoting women’s rights and gender equality to submit proposals to hold a Regional Forum for the Promotion and Monitoring Progress of the Implementation of Istanbul Convention in six Western Balkan countries and Turkey - to contribute to the implementation of the Programme “Ending violence against women and girls: Implementing Norms, Changing Minds” funded by the European Union. The Programme aims at ending gender based discrimination and violence against women, with a particular focus on the most disadvantaged groups of women, in Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo[1], FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia) and Turkey.

Organizations that wish to participate in this Call for Proposals are requested to send all required application documents in one email to [ Click to reveal ] indicating in the e-mail subject: EVAW - CfP Regional Forum 

By 20 July 2017, 23:00 (Ankara local time).

Proposals received after the date and time may not be accepted for consideration.

Applications must be submitted in English.

UN Women will acknowledge receipt of the applications through a confirmation e‐mail. Only those short listed shall be considered and further contacted.

While applicants could be operating and/or legally registered in one or more countries covered by the programme, the proposal must cover all countries involved in the programme. Only proposals addressing the regional scope of the call will thus be considered.
