Handbook for NGOs working with Refugee Women

There is a strong need to strengthen the relationship between women's CSOs and refugee women in Turkey. Women's Studies Association aims to build and contribute to the communication between Turkish women's CSOs and refugee women, by empowering Turkish women NGOs regarding the applicable legal framework in force for Syrian women. The handbook examines the "temporary protection regime" applied to Syrians living in Turkey. In addition, relevant articles from the Istanbul Convention and their practical usage is also covered. Lastly, brief information on the available mechanisms and services in Turkey that Syrian women can refer to is explained. With the help of this handbook, it is expected that women's NGOs would be better equipped to communicate with and provide better services to refugee women.
